Erik Mongrain Air Tap
I stumbled upon this at Youtube and was floored. This guy’s technique is much more than a trick. It’s very musical and percussive at the same time. An amazing video of Erik Mongrain playing Air Tap.

Boston is one of my all time favorite bands and the death of Brad Delp saddens me in so many ways. Listening to old rock brings so much comfort, memories of much simpler times. When key member of a band passes a little piece of us die as well.
The world needs hope right now. We always have hopeour favorite bands would do one more tour, one more reunion, one more killer album. Unfortunately we all have one less thing to be hopeful about.
In the early 80’s Tom Scholz introduced the Rockman X100. Scholz is an MIT graduate and the Rockman gear was designed to let everyday people achive guitar tones that took hundreds or thousands of dollars of studio gear and knowledge to achieve. It was revolutionary at the time and was truly one of the first stack-in-a-box devices.
The Rockman line was expanded to include rack mountable modules. Including the Rockman Sustainor, Chorus and Echo.
